The bill tracker widget: a glance instead of an app open

Most of the time you would rather not open a bills app. You want to know, in the second it takes to look at your phone, whether anything needs you today, and feel safe putting it back in your pocket. A widget is the right size for that question.

What the widget shows

  • Small Home Screen widget: a ring showing how much of this month's bills are paid.
  • Medium Home Screen widget: the ring, plus the next bill due with its amount and date. Tap the ring to open Home, or the bill to open it.
  • Lock Screen circular: the same ring, small enough to sit next to the clock.
  • Lock Screen rectangular: the next bill due, so you see it before you unlock.
  • Privacy: if you turn on app lock, or iOS is hiding widget content, the numbers show as Hidden until you unlock. Nobody glancing at your phone sees your bills.
Forseera Home screen: a progress ring, income, bills and remaining tiles, and the bills due next.
The ring on Home is the same ring the widget shows.

Adding it

  1. Long-press an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap the plus in the corner, and search Forseera.
  2. Pick Paid and next in the size you want, then tap Add Widget.
  3. For the Lock Screen, long-press the Lock Screen, tap Customize, tap the area under the clock, and choose Forseera.

What it does not do

The widget shows the month's paid progress and the next bill. It does not show what's left to spend. For that number, open the app: it is the first thing on Home. If the widget says May be out of date, open the app once and it refreshes.

Reminders do not depend on the widget. The morning each bill is due, a notification finds you whether or not the widget is on your screen.
