The short version
Pick Bill Tracker Pro if you want a bill calendar plus a budget, spending charts, and a hidden-subscription finder in one app, you may want it on iPad too, and you do not mind the price being something you find out inside the app.
Pick Forseera if you want the bill list and the reminder, grouped around your paychecks, with the price on the front and nothing else to maintain.
Three differences you can check yourself
- Forseera publishes its price. Bill Tracker Pro's website does not. Search billtrackerpro.com for a dollar sign and you will not find one; the FAQ answers "Is it free?" with a question about late fees. Forseera's price is on this site, on its App Store page, and on the first screen after sign-in.
- Forseera is built around pay periods. Bill Tracker Pro is built around a monthly calendar with a budget. Bill Tracker Pro shows what is safe to spend after upcoming bills, and its reviewers loved a per-pay-period view that a 2026 update took away. In Forseera the pay period is the unit on every screen, not a view that can disappear.
- Forseera leaves out budgets, charts, and subscription hunting on purpose. Bill Tracker Pro added all three. If you want them, that is a point for Bill Tracker Pro. If you have ever written "I couldn't care less about the graphs" in a review, it is not.

What Bill Tracker Pro does that Forseera does not
Bill Tracker Pro has a budget, spending charts, iPad and web apps, partner sharing, and a hidden-subscription finder. It has been in the App Store since November 2015, carries a 4.6 rating across about five thousand ratings, and its developer answers reviews and emails within hours, which users notice and reward.
Forseera has none of those. It is newer, iPhone only, one person per account, and about bills and paychecks alone.
Bill Tracker Pro review: what 200 recent reviewers say
We read the 200 most recent US App Store reviews of Bill Tracker Pro, written between August 2024 and October 19, 2026. Of those, 116 give it one to three stars and 84 give it four or five. The praise is consistent: people who have used it for three to seven years, a developer who fixes things within the hour, the budget's what's-left number, and a calendar that shows the month in colors.
The complaints are just as consistent, and they are about trust rather than features. Data loss, duplicated transactions, paid bills reverting, and dates shifting come up in 41 of the low reviews. An update that removed something people relied on, including the per-pay-period view, comes up in 37. Anger about the paywall, about a one-time purchase that became a subscription, or about being prompted to buy Pro while adding a bill comes up in 32. Slowness and constant syncing in 18, and bank linking in 9.
I've used this app for years but recently with the new update I can't see individual accounts anymore and how much I have left over after each pay period.
Why am I getting a notification of a bill due when I have already paid the bill?
Forseera cannot promise it will never have a bug. It can tell you how it is built: a bill you mark paid is written to your account on the server, not just the phone, reminders stop when a bill is paid, the price is shown before you add anything, and the pay-period view is the app, not a feature that an update can remove.
Bill Tracker Pro vs Rocket Money
People weighing these two are choosing between a bill calendar with a budget and a bank-linked money app with a bill negotiator and credit score. Bill Tracker Pro costs less on its listing ($5.99 to $11.99 a month) and works fully by hand; Rocket Money's useful parts sit behind Premium at a price you pick between $7 and $14 a month, and it needs your accounts linked. Both show more than bills. If bills are the whole problem, Forseera's Rocket Money page covers that side, and this page covers this one.
Questions people ask
Is Forseera cheaper than Bill Tracker Pro?
It depends which Bill Tracker Pro price you are offered. Its website shows none; its App Store listing shows in-app purchases of $5.99, $9.99 and $11.99 a month and $17.99 to $49.99 a year. Forseera is $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year, everywhere, with everything included.
Is Bill Tracker Pro free?
It has a limited free version with an unpublished cap; recent reviewers describe being prompted to buy Pro when adding a bill. Forseera has no free tier and no cap: a 7-day free trial with everything on, then $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year.
Is Bill Tracker Pro worth it?
Its long-time users say yes: a reasonable annual fee, a fast developer, and a budget that shows what is left. Its one-to-three-star reviewers, 116 of the last 200, mostly left over lost or duplicated data and updates that removed views they relied on. If you want the calendar and budget and can live with that risk, it is. If you want only bills by paycheck with the price up front, Forseera is the alternative.
Does Forseera have a bill calendar?
Forseera shows bills on a Timeline grouped by pay period rather than a month grid. Each period lists its bills, their dates, what is paid, and what is left.
Can I track bills without a bank in either app?
Yes, in both. Forseera and Bill Tracker Pro both let you enter bills by hand and never connect an account.
Can I share Forseera with my partner like Bill Tracker Pro?
Not yet. Each Forseera account is for one person. Bill Tracker Pro offers partner sharing.
How do I switch from Bill Tracker Pro?
Add your recurring bills to Forseera, then cancel Bill Tracker Pro in your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions. Setup is about ten minutes once.
The price is on the front. Paid stays paid.
Seven days free. Add your bills once and see what's left before the next check.
