Three ways to mark a bill paid
- Swipe. On the Bills screen or Home, swipe a bill's row to the left. Swipe all the way and it is done; swipe partway and tap Mark paid.
- From the bill. Open any bill and tap Mark paid, just under the amount.
- From the reminder. Long-press the reminder on the morning the bill is due and tap Mark paid. The app does not need to open.

What changes when you do
- The row greys out and its circle fills in.
- The paid ring on Home and the widget moves up.
- Any reminder still scheduled for that bill is cancelled, including a snoozed one.
- The next occurrence of a repeating bill appears under its next due date, unpaid, waiting its turn.
Undoing it, and bank links
Marked the wrong one? Swipe again or open the bill and tap Undo mark paid. Nothing else is touched.
If you have linked a bank read-only through Plaid, Forseera marks a bill paid when the matching charge appears in your transactions, and a bank-confirmed payment wins over a manual mark either way. A bill the bank has confirmed paid cannot be undone by hand, because the evidence is still there; if a match looks wrong, disconnect that bill from the charge on the bill screen; the mark stays on record, but future payments go back to manual marking.
Paid state lives in your account, not only on the phone. A new phone, an app update, or letting the subscription lapse does not reset it. We built it that way after reading reviews of other bill apps where paid bills flipped back to unpaid, which is the fastest way to make someone stop trusting the app.
I keep selecting that I've 'paid' my bills and every time I go back in they show 'unpaid'.
Questions people ask
Can I mark a bill paid before its due date?
Yes. Mark it whenever you pay it. The reminder for that occurrence is cancelled and the ring moves up.
Can I record a different amount than planned?
For bills marked Varies month to month, edit the amount on the bill before or after marking it paid. See variable bills.
What if autopay paid it?
Mark it paid the same way, or let a bank link do it when the charge appears. The Auto-pay switch is a label that tells you which bills draft themselves; it does not mark them paid on its own. See autopay.
