Bills by paycheck, on your phone

You are paid every other week. Rent is monthly. The car is on the 15th. Somewhere in your head you are doing the math on whether this check covers all of it, and you are tired of it. Forseera does that math on the Home screen and keeps doing it every time a bill is paid.

What you see when you open it

Home shows this pay period: the income that landed, the bills it has to cover, and what's left as one number. The Timeline shows the same thing for every period after it, so you can see which check the insurance comes out of before it does.

Forseera Home screen: a progress ring, income, bills and remaining tiles, and the bills due next.
Home: this period's income, bills, and what's left.
Forseera Timeline screen: pay periods with their bills and what remains.
Timeline: which check covers which bill, and what remains after.

How it works

  1. Add the bills that repeat: rent, phone, car, the streaming. Pick from a list of common services or type them in. Or link a bank read-only through Plaid and let the amounts and dates fill in.
  2. Tell Forseera a typical paycheck and how often it lands. Weekly, every other week, twice a month, monthly, or irregular all work.
  3. Forseera splits your bills into the pay periods they fall in and shows what's left in each.
  4. The morning a bill is due you get one heads-up. If it goes unpaid, one question two days later. Mark it paid and it stays paid.

If your pay is not regular

Tips, shifts, freelance, two jobs: enter each paycheck as it arrives and Forseera builds the period from one deposit to the next. What's left is still one number, it just starts the day you get paid.

It is not a budget. There are no categories to keep up and no charts to read. The one question it answers is whether this check covers what's due before the next one.

Questions people ask

What is a bills-by-paycheck app?

An app that groups your bills by the paycheck that pays them instead of by calendar month, and shows what is left from each check after its bills. Forseera does this on its Home screen and Timeline; a few other apps, including BillOut, show a version of it too.

Does Forseera work with biweekly pay?

Yes. Every other week is the most common setting. Weekly, twice a month, monthly, and irregular paychecks also work.

No. You can enter bills and paychecks by hand. Bank linking is optional and read-only through Plaid; Forseera never moves money.

What does it cost?

A 7-day free trial with everything on, then $8.99 a month or $69.99 a year, billed through Apple. Cancel in two taps and your bills stay saved.
