The Auto-pay switch
Every bill has a switch called Auto-pay (it is called Paid automatically while you set up). Turn it on for the ones that draft themselves: the phone, insurance, streaming, the car if it is set up that way. It is a label, not an action. Forseera does not move money and does not mark the bill paid for you when the date passes.
What the label does is tell you, on each bill, which ones need a hand from you and which only need the money to be there. When you sit down to look, the list splits into two jobs: pay these, and make sure the money is there for those.

Where the warning actually comes from
An autopay bill still gets its reminder at 9 the morning it is due, like any other bill. The warning you actually need comes earlier: every draft is in the list of what is coming next, with what's left after it, so the one that lands before your money does shows up days ahead, while there is still time to move something over. If you would rather not be reminded about autopay bills at all, due-date reminders are one switch in Settings; every notification type has its own.
Once the draft has run, mark the bill paid like any other: swipe the row, or let a read-only bank link do it when the charge appears. Then it stays paid.
The case this is built for
| Paycheck | Autopay drafts before the next one | What's left | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oct 23 | $1,800 | Rent $1,450 on Nov 1 | $350 |
| Nov 6 | $1,800 | Phone $85, car insurance $142, streaming $18 | $1,555 |
Questions people ask
Does Forseera pay bills for me?
No. It never moves money. The bank link, if you use it, is read-only through Plaid. Autopay is set up with each company, and Forseera keeps track of which bills you have done that for.
Does marking a bill Paid automatically mark it paid when the date passes?
No. Mark it paid yourself, or link a bank and it is marked paid when the matching charge appears. See marking a bill paid.
Can I turn off reminders just for autopay bills?
Not per bill. Due-date reminders are one switch for all bills. Seeing the draft coming is what prevents the overdraft, not the reminder, so turning reminders off costs you less than you would think.
Autopay handles the paying. You still get to see it coming.
Seven days free. No more finding out by overdraft fee.
